Hey everybody,

Will the 757-300 have a new cockpit like the 737NG, 767-400, 777, and 717 have?

I don't know about the cockpit, but the cabin interior should be like those on 777. 777's interior is being used on many other Boeing's models like 753, 764, some new 763, 737 NG.

I heard back in 1998 that Condor wanted to add the 737NG cockpit after two years of service which would be 2001... nothing happend. I doubt that we will see that happen soon even if I think that that may be a reason why many airlines go for Airbus since there they can have more or less the same cockpit which ain't the case with Boeing.

At CO we will have the standard B757-200 cockpit.

As a side note some of you who have read my posts might remember that I was very proud of my father who worked for Eastern Airlines from 1951 to 1986. I am where I am today because of him. He passed this morning, I just wanted you to know he enjoyed the web and thought this place was a great plane for enthusiest like us: thanks....

To answer the question, the 757 cockpit has not changed. The 753 is the same airplane as the 752, just longer. And with the new interior, which I believe is also an option on new 752s.

Eastern was my first airplane flight when I was a little kid from EWR-MCO a long time ago, Eastern and later CAL are my favorite airlines.
