Any Rumors About New Service To Washington IAD?

If you've read my other topic I started, it's clear I am a Dulles Airport nerd !

But anyways, are there any rumors about new service? I believe Royal Air Maroc intends to start service in 2012 with their 787-8 aircraft, but this is the only one I am aware of.

Thanks for your help on this subject

Perhaps IAD could be EK's third new US city in 2012, after DFW and SEA. EK recently made a few new hires in the DC region. This could be an indicator they are preparing for an IAD launch.

Porter Airlines is looking at beginning new service to either PHL or IAD at some point in the second half of 2012, using two new Q400s they will be taking delivery of next month.

Given PD's business model, DCA would be a far more likely candidate than IAD, but due to the unavailability of pre-clearance at YTZ, it looks like PHL will get the nod.

These PD YTZ-IAD/PHL rumours have been raised in other recent threads but I can't find them at the moment.

But within the next few years, it wouldn't surprise me too much if EI relaunched their DUB-IAD route.

I know that CO/UA is starting the route soon, but when the recession calms down and aircrafts free up it may return?

Really? That's very interesting..do you have any idea on when the third American destination will be announced?

The CEO of AM recently hinted that they are looking at more U.S. East Coast destinations. I would imagine that they are eyeing MEX-IAD, but there is nothing official. It'd be awesome to see AM land at IAD in 2012. Fingers crossed.

An of course, we continue (at least I do...) to wait for LAN (Actually LP) to make a move...I hopw 2012 is the year. I would be cool to see a LAN 763 here at IAD. LIM-IAD is what was said before. I also wonder if SCL-IAD-JFK would also work...
