Its nice AA get some good news these days...


Folks might remember the ongoing 2005 Massachusetts case involving skycaps at BOS.

Skycaps had claimed AA deprived them of tip income by instituting check baggage fees which went solely to the airline.

After several twist and turns in state and federal courts, the US Supreme Court on Monday let stand Federal Appeals court decision that AA does not owe skycaps any monies which were previously award by Massachusetts courts and that Federal transportation laws relating to rates and services offered by airlines preempt local or state regulations covering tips or service fees.
