True, but MMX is way closer to CPH than BLL. More important, MMX positions itself as an alternative for CPH. For Danish passengers for example, they offer steep discounts on the toll for the Oresund bridge.
Since the bridge has been built, actually CPH has become an alternative for MMX for people from Malmo. CPH is about as far from Malmo as MMX and has very frequent train connections.

I fly regular to BLL. If I fly SIN-FRA-BLL, the cost of FRA-BLL on LH is almost the same as SIN-FRA on SQ if you have the same flexibility in fare. If I fly KL AMS-BLL, the totally inflexible lowest fare is around 350-400 Euro. In my experience, the flight is always full at the times I fly. Hopefully the prices go down a bit flying in and out of BLL.
And on a side note, BLL used to be 1 of only a few 4-star rated airports in Europe (there are no 5-star airports in Europe). I don't know what the latest rating is.

They don't. It's simply listed as Billund, and also the press release doesn't mention Copenhagen at all. That would be extremely far-fetched. (Although Paris Vatry is far-fetched too).
A difference here is that Billund is aimed at originating (Danish) passengers, willing to go on vacation. They know where Billund is.

I know, I can see both Kastrup and Malmø from my window. It was directed at the idea that Ryanair don't bill other airports as somewhere they're not. Malmø might be close, but it's not in Copenhagen. It's not even in the same country. It was simply to prove that they do have a habit of misleading destinations. That's not to mention PIK. Not only do Ryanair bill it as Glasgow but the bloody airport do too and it couldn't be further from the truth.

Not really. Billund Airport (BLL) is around 3 hours by car from Copenhagen.
However, Sturup Airport (MMX) near Malmö is only 66 km and approx 50 mins by car from the center of Copenhagen. Ryanair will have 5 routes from MMX during S12 and if you look it up they are actually not calling it Copenhagen. Not defending Ryanair here. I will probably never fly them myself.

Sure it's the facts, but facts can indeed be used and chosen to support either positive or negative sides of a case. It's also a fact that Ryanair only allow a maximum of 4 disabled people on their flights, but presenting those facts is not something that really presents Ryanair in a positive way. I normally don't support the practices of Ryanair, so was just underlining that the statement was certainly not to present them in a positive way.

Why so overly defensive of Ryanair? Their tactics and habits are well known. Someone made a joke about it based on truth and you get bent out of shape. I didn't say you had mentioned the past, I was merely pointing out that the joke was based on history and deserved, in my opinion.

I agree. Cimber/Sterling is in dire need of paying passengers. Added competition from one of their bases is not what they need right now. It's another nail in their coffin as far as I'm concerned. I detest QI, but it's always sad to see a "local" airline struggle.

If it's really a safety issue, I have always wondered why this is not a general rule and not just a policy of Ryanair. One could suspect Ryanair for not wanting to take on board too many disabled pax as it would disturb their tight flight operation as it would be difficult or impossible to make a turn-around in 25 minutes or less.
