The Met Office warnings map has changed several times today but it's currently showing GLA, PIK and EDI in the red (i.e. most at risk) sector with INV and ABZ (and, for that matter, NCL) in the amber sector, Whatever eventually transpires, it look like flying in or out of Scottish airports won't be fun tomorrow

To be fair, most airports coped pretty well last year and LGW suffered very significant snow falls as i'm sure you will know. There is only so much you can do and whilst I agree some Countries are better at it, they are the ones that have the most practice.
