What Airline is this and it funny how only the FA's got sick, not the Capt and FO or any passengers. Most likely something they all ate from the airport or hotel.

The opinions I post are of mine and mine alone, not of the airline I work for.

It sounds to me like catering was delivered.

What kind of "news" is this with no identifiers of any kind? This "news" might as well be an unfounded rumor.

By the way, what type of aircraft using FLL would have five flight attendants?

Could have been a 757-300. UA/CO and Delta fly it--and I know DL flies it to FLL.

B727fa,

You are actually more helpful than NBC.

Let me look around and see if any other media outlets know anything about this incident.

US Airways flight attendants preparing for a flight to PHL. No passengers on board at the time of the incident and HAZMAT team thinks it may be related to the APU.

The Miami CBS affiliate also has a better written blurb.
