Since its Christmas buying time, some charters are offering Christmas buying trips to New York from the UK. Always happens this of time of year from Europe.

Yup Christmas Shopping charters, there was a big deal made over one of them being the first passenger New York flight from EMA.

It'll be the second set of flights from Leeds/Bradford and Newcastle.

Indeed! One bird from LBA and the other the 0800 from NCL, which sits there until late tonight and whizzes back later.

NCL seemed to be pretty full when I checked the day before yesterday. Probably 4-5 spare seats.

GLA flight was 100% full, not bad for their first year. Cant see them being any more than a few Christmas shopping flights.

I wish they'd do this from MAN and all the time! I wouldn't mind flying Jet2 to EWR across the pond!

I think they've done this a few times now.

Yes I can't remember the first year they started running them.

I think the competition and the high charges ex-MAN don't make it work while, and LBA isn't all that far away!
