Just got wind that Vision is cutting CKB to SFB and possibly SDF. Im pretty certain that these routes have not even started yet. They are only going to honor tickets untill 01/07/11.
What is going on with Vision? I also heard there 738 got repoed to MIA in another forum. Just last year they were basically making VPS a hub and now VPS only serves 2 cities...This airline makes alot of random naive decisions! any other info?

Wonder if Vision is still handling any "rendition" flights??

Vision had also committed to operating for DirectAir. With the repo of their 738's (I was told two of them), they could no longer fulfill their obligations and the flights (20-24 per week) were subbed out to Miami Air.

I wouldn't be surprised to Vision Air end scheduled service after the seasonal FPO flights end

I flew on their 737-300 from RIC to Freeport and back on their $29 introductory fare. The plane flew nearly empty both ways. On the return, the flight attendant announced that we had 29 passengers. By the way, the aircraft had Continental seat covers and the galley carts had Continental on them, so it was easy to guess where the plane came from.

Not good news that First Data Resources (their credit card clearinghouse) is withholding a substantial amount of money due to Vision's fragile financial condition. Seems that this is the end for the airline, in my opinion.

You can't make money on $29.00 fares. I don't know how Direct Air does it. I get emails all the time about cheap fares. When will these airlines (management) get a clue? What does it cost to fly a 737-300 let alone a 737-800? I am talking total operations, ramp, catering, fuel, landing fees, crew costs, lease payments, insurance, etc. etc, ???
