Thanks for the update.....Not surprising given the current schedules loaded for spring/summer 2012 show the 744 as severely underutilized (even after taking into account the mods). Now things are more "in synch": Two 777 transpac flights (MSP-NRT and LAX-NRT) coupled with two 777 interport flights (NRT-SIN and NRT-HKG). Previously, it was three 777 transpac flights (MSP/ATL/LAX-NRT) and two 777 interport flights, which meant one 777 would be sitting at NRT for 22-23 hours....

And it's STILL always full! LOL. I've seldom seen it on the day of departure with more than 5 seats empty up front. There are no complementary upgrades on DL USA-Hawaii USA so it's itehr burn a LOT of miles to get the seat, use a systemwide upgrade or list on the same-day standy upgrade program and that's only for certain fares. In the back, always pretty full which is exactly why the 333 is on it. However, if the 744 isn't flying it now, IDK if we will see it return in the summer unless they REALLY see the demand for than many seats in Y.
