In Summary

Overall, the flight was quite enjoyable, but from the passenger's perspective, the 787's launch isn't as significant as, say, the Concorde in 1976 or the A380 in 2007, and probably doesn't warrant a trip to Japan.

Is the 787 a solution for the struggling airline industry? That remains unclear -- even with this Dream finally becoming a reality.

The world is really getting smaller these days
