Now I'm not really sure if the admin. will approve of this, but I would be happy to offer my chat room as a temporary substitute. You could come on all the time or just till the ailiners.net chat is back. I don't know what you guys think but you can try it if you want. Oh yeah, it's an aviation website.(incase you wanted to know.)

Ok..since the chat room is still down, let's designate a temporary server. I was thinking that we could use the channel #airliners on EFNET network. Basically, we are going to use IRC (Internet Relay Chat)
To join the chat...
1) You need to download an IRC program. I use mIRC, downloadable for free at www.mirc.com.
2) After you installed it, choose an EFNET server. It doesn't matter which EFNET server you choose as long as it says EFNET. Not all of them will connect. I usually connect to the EFNET server "irc-w.frontiernet.net". If none of them connect, you can make up a new server. You can find a list of all EFNET servers by doing a search on the web on "EFNET servers".
3) After you have connected to the EFNET server, type "/join #airliners" (without the quotes)...and start chatting.
