Hi,

I saw on the Hungarian news website HIR24.HU that Malev might go on strike soon. I could not understand most of it.

Who is going on strike, and when will that be?

Thanks for any info you can give me.

Bastiaan

...sorry, do you have a link about this? There is no other mention of anything like that near and far... the only thing I could come up with was a protest back in march, and even that had no effect on operations.

What's with the bankruptcy? Last thing I heard was that the government wouldn't let them go, but the EU is watching them closely because there were some sort of illegal subsidies in the past. Any updates on that?

One Airline on the verge of collapse. This will probably be the fate of CSA and other east European (flagship) airlines.

What I heard is that Malév has to pay back all subsidies. But since they are stateowned its going from government to government.
