Not sure what you're thanking him for, since that information adds absolutely nothing about where it's going in the future. It merely repeats the information you already had, with the small additional nugget that the frame used to be on the Canadian register as C-GTSN. That info is easily available even on a.net's photo database, from which you can glean that its Canadian operator was Air Transat.
(Note that I don't have an answer here either. However, completely non-responsive posts in the guise of information annoy the heck out of me and I have a bad headache. It's clearly time to either a) have a beer or b) take it out on someone else! Guess which I chose?)

Five of that aircraft's 7 operators to date were Canadian, all except Air Transat now defunct. The other 4: Odyssey International, Nationair, Harmony, Zoom.

Yeah I guess your right, thank you for your reply. You should go for A, have a beer and relax and have a look at some fine looking birds (and aircraft to haha).

Most visitors to QLA are going there for maintenance at ATC (Lasham) Engineering. So my best guess is that this aircraft is undergoing maintenance prior to being offered for sale or for lease by its current owners who are(or perhaps were) Global Aircraft Leasing.

I see, I do hope its just for maintenance! Wasn't the aircraft flying with Astraeus before they went bust... I shall assume that it is looking for a new airline. Don't they store/repaint aircraft at Lasham?

For substance, ATC Lasham only handles work on a couple of aircraft types, one of which is the 757 (others are 737 and, somewhat bizarrely, DC8), so there's a good chance this frame is coming back into service sometime.

You are probably thinking of BA's fourth 320, G-BUSD. It was withdrawn from service on 27 Oct 06. It was then ferried to QLA on 6 Nov 06 when it had the distinction of being the first Airbus aircarft to land there:
Within five days it of arriving at QLA it had had its engines removed. By 18 Mar 07 its nose had been removed and its fuselage had been cut into two sections.
The sections wetre plugged with ply board. By the 7 Oct 07 they had been transported by road and delivered to TFC GmbH, a German cabin simulator manufacturer located in Velbert:
