Auburn Maine, another one is a parts plane. What does the future hold for the one in Florida?

Are you talking about the Starliner that Kermit Weekes owns that looks to be in former Lufthansa colors? Its sitting at the entrance to Fantasy of Flight. Last year he did tow it down and park it along I-4 for a few months but its back at the entrance on the north side of his property. I am sure Kermit will get around to actually restoring it - not sure if he will have it flying again but I am sure he will have it at least looking museum worthy.

I was not aware this Starliner was sold again since Marice sold it along with his other two
Lockheed Starliners in Auburn Maine.

Since Lufthansa chose to restore an original TWA Starliner and not this original Lufthansa bird, I wonder what the real condition of this plane is...........

This plane is built to withstand anything... except a bad pilot.

The interesting fact is this Starliner is the only Starliner (so far) which had made any flight since the 1990s, it had a short ferryflight to Polk City on 19-10-2001. Lufthansa probably took or will take parts from it to make their cn 1018 operational as they own this one too.

nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?
