Curious, I was on 87 north going to work this morning, 907am, and saw an AC A320 parked with the corporate jets. It also had some bold font near the front, right, catering door, just behind the cockpit, but I couldn't read it. Bay area was pretty foggy, could this have been a diversion from SFO? Could it be a sports team? Hmmm doesn't look like the Sharks are in town though... Any ideas?

Yep..this the season for NHL charters into SJC and many other destinations. I'm sure we will see a thread from LAX soon "Why is there AC Airbus parked at the Imperial Terminal". When in doubt, think sports!

Chances are it was a NHL team. Even though they Sharks are not in town the other team may have several days off before their game with the Sharks. Many teams would favour days off in California then for example, Minnesota. AC Jetz also fly other teams than just the Canadian NHL teams. The off chance it could be a corporate charter as well seeing how the area is big with computers.
