Hi everyone,
I know EK have quite a few 77W's on order and it seems that every other day, they are upguaging a route to a 77W. My question is.. What is the delivery rate of the planes? How many firm orders do they currently have on order to be delivered?
How many are they taking in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, etc?
I always wonder how the can create the flexibility to add a 77W to routes so often. I suppose they are taking deliveries at fairly quick pace, which may explain what I'm wondering.

From the Boeing website, EK received 11 777's in 2011, they have ordered a total of 139, 52 delivered, and 87 to go. They also have some 40 777's I believe on lease as in Nov 2011 they had 95 in operation.
I recall that all will be delivered by 2019. The Nov 2011 order for 50 starts delivery in 2015, so the rate each year will be around a dozen.

Of all the aircraft in EKs fleet, it owns only 3/155 as of 31st March 2011. Of that only one is a 777: a 777-200.

With the recent commercials in a couple of regions of the States, it's a no brainer that most of them will be deployed on new US-destinations. Keep in mind that the recent deliveries (IIRC A6-EGA and so on) have their MTOW increased.
