In cooperation with Air France, Air Madagascar is in talks to become a member of SkyTeam.

What added value would Air Madagascar have to any alliance? I can imagine there is a historical tie with Air France but isn't a interline agreement or a codeshare agreement enough? How big is their fleet at the moment and what are their plans for the future?

Exactly, are they serious. I cannot see any logical sense if they were to join ST, or any allinace for that matter.

I was quite surprised at this as well. I hope that ST will focus on Gol, Jet, etc to fill those types of gaps.

Hmmm I'd hope that Air Madagascar will just be an affiliate and not a full on member! Like most people on here, what added value does Air Madagascar give to SkyTeam?
