Brisbane hotel with free drinks and Richard Branson
in attendence, all other crews overstaying in SYD, MEL
and ADE will also have free drinks and food supplied
at the hotels they are staying at, expect to see very

Isn't it great to have an airline showing some flair in OZ at last??? 1000 $1 tickets is no major loss (rest assured it will on off-peak services) but it sure is great publicity.

You also have to consider the return flights for all the people who aren't aviation nuts like us and may want to stay a day or two in the city they are visiting.

Just my $0.02 (if I do it 50 times I get a flight, yay!)

Well... a java countdown thingie has popped up on http://www.virginblue.com.au and it says 45 mins and counting down to go. Lets see how this works.

This special, unlike some of their others in the past, has been pumped on local radio here in AU so I'm expecting to see the "Webserver too busy" error soon. I'm not really hopefull that I'll get one.... (my ISP's never the best...)..

I wonder if I can book more then one $1 flight at a time? MEL -> SYD -> MEL with some friends on the 28th would be fun.... if I can pull it off.

Trent,

Same ere. You'd think that BigPond out of all ISPs would work better.

You need someone with optus from what I've been told, as a friend in Germany has traced it.

Cheers,

Justin
