Not really unexpected. But they actually think they might start back up in summer runs.

Hmmmm....they are $225K behind in payments to NW Florida Regional airport.

I pointed out in the thread about UP getting authority from FPO to RIC/BWI/SDF/RDU that the Louisville paper said Vision will killing all flying out of SDF in Feb with the exception of FPO. It also mentioned that the company owes about 200K to the SDF Regional Airport Authority.......so God knows who else they are in hock with.

They seemed to be fine filling their niche as a small charter operator with some scheduled grand canyon stuff.. not sure what was wrong with that?

So if Bahamas Air is starting those routes from FPO, and WN is starting SDF-ATL, is there really anything left for Vision Air to fly? I think the only route that does descent for them is SDF-FLL

And yet they no longer run that route. From what I heard Vision plans to go back to Charter service only.
