Hey All--
I watch and keep track of all the Frontier commercials because so many of them are just genius and "plane" old funny! However I have noticed a change in the advertising on the commercials, it's gotten "boring"?
For example, the latest commercials I have been seeing, feature the animals off the tail and now in different cities or areas, and they are just talking about low fares.
To me every airline is going to advertise low fares, what got my attention was the sense of humor F9 had, and really pushing the classic and classic plus fares, and I think the classic fares are the best deals out there.
Is there a reason why there is a change in the advertising in terms of featuring their product? The two commercials I will post mostly just go "We have low fares" within the beginning of the commercial.
So is it my imagination, or has F9 really changed their commercials and backed away from the Product and Classic Fare stuff? To me F9 needs to push what they have best, TV, Classic Product Fares, etc etc, and I don't see that anymore on the new commercials.
Alex

Taking them off the tails is what has ruined the commercials for me. Whoever came up with the original concept was a genius.

Agreed. I love the old commercials, and while these made me chuckle a bit, it left me feeling, "ok you have not shown me why I need to fly F9, everyone claims to have low fares".
I just think Frontier needs to go back to SELLING the product they have and show what makes them different from other airlines.

Who knows if there is a connection, but Frontier has been having record load factors since these off-aircraft commercials started.
And given Southwest's swamping of DEN, I guess the insistence on "low fares" may be the right thing to sell?

In this day and age, everyone is looking for "cheap". If you have it, why not flaunt it?
