Just saw my trip itinerary for next week and ill be taking a 175 from CLT to AVP. I know this is the biggest plane that US has flown in there in years. Usually an CRJ 200 or a 700 and the a slew of dash 8's to Philly. I am excited to take this flight. The E 175 is such a fun plane to fly on. When did they start doing this and does anyone know if any other airlines are looking to bring larger planes to AVP? If I recall AVP will be building a new tower and maybe some runway work soon. Thanks.

Interesting, I'm surprised I didn't catch this myself as I usually check flights into AVP but I have been slacking lately. According to Flightaware.com RPA3188 started CLT-AVP, Jan 10, 2012.
I really like the E170 and try to get on it whenever US sends it to DAB

It is going to be nice to fly these beautiful planes with the new F product in them. Finally a F product for airports that never had that before. I wonder how hard it is going to be to score a first class seat. Probably not a big market but still only 8 seats.
