Ryanair has announced the following new routes and higher frequencies:
New routes:
BARCELONA TO Alicante, Bilbao, Stocholm, Hamburg, Menorca, Munich.
MADRID TO Bilbao, Menorca.
Increased frequencies for:
BCN-LPA, from 6pw to 9pw
BCN-IBZ, from 14pw to 21pw
BCN-AGP, from 21pw to 28pw
BCN-PMI, from 21pw to 35pw
BCN-SVQ, from 21pw to 28pw
BCN-TFS, from 6pw to 8pw
MAD-FUE, from 4pw to 5pw
MAD-LPA, from 8pw to 13pw
MAD-IBZ, from 12pw to 14pw
MAD-ACE, from 10pw to 12pw
MAD-PMI, from 21pw to 35pw
MAD-TFS, from 7pw to 11pw
Ryanair does not fly to Bilbao (BIO) currently so they'll be opening this destination with flights from MAD and BCN. EasyJet announced 4x daily frequencies from on the MAD-BIO route shortly before Spanair's collapse, so it'll be interesting to see what happens in that route.
