The Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, is currently on an official visit to China this week. Although the below link speaks to the potential closer ties between COMAC and Bombardier, could a CSeries order becoming closer to fruition by a Chinese carrier?

Bombardier has not sold any CSeries planes to China, and so any orders could really solidify the program. Even a small order by a Chinese carrier would be a huge boost for Bombardier.

According to the article below, Korean Air is not satisfied that Bombardier is properly marketing the CSeries.

Also, Bombardier had signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to sell 6 x CRJ900 NextGen's to an unidentified customer back in October, could this order be firmed up during the Prime Minister's visit?

Cheers,
CRJ900X

Since the CSeries fuselage is being built in China (Shenyang), I think there's a good chance that politics if nothing else will eventually result in sales to one or more Chinese carriers.

I'm pretty sure Bombardier would do better selling China corporate jets, like the Global Express and Challengers than the "Cseries"..

the way corporate aviation is growing in that country, one company has like 35 Gulfstreams on order
