Copied from another thread:

767-300
-16 Active (subfleet of 4 ETOPS frames operating mainland-Hawaii), all equipped with nose-to-tail AVOD/live TV and wifi
-All to receive EC by summer 2012

They're not in TPA
They're not in MCO
They're not in MIA
They're not in FLL
They're not in PBI
They're not in LGA
They're not in BOS

So, ....WHERE ARE THEY? How come I don't see them flying around Florida anymore, they're not doing TATL

They're prtty much limited to long domestic sectors, like ATL-LAX/SFO/LAS, MSP-LAX, DTW-LAX. And then there's the 4 ETOPS frames doing runs like ATL-SLC-HNL and LAX-HNL.

Mostly doing high-density transcons and hub-to-hub flights. You'll find them at ATL, DTW, MSP, LAX, SLC, LAS, SEA, and ANC, among others.

Thought ex AA 757 did those routes

DTW, MSP,

Ah yes.........I forgot to factor in the new route structure. But I could have sworn there were more than 16.

Except for the new NW routes, weren't they doing these routes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 years ago?

Put the registrations into the "Private Flight Tracker" search box on FlightAware - it works pretty well for DL aircraft.

For example, N136DL flew 2 IND-BOS Super Bowl special flights (repositioning flights are not normally listed) yesterday. Before that, it did:

1/25 DTW-LAX-MSP
1/26 MSP-LAX-ATL
1/27 ATL-LAX-ATL
1/28 ATL-LAX-DTW
1/29 DTW-LAX-MSP
1/30 MSP-LAX-ATL-LAX
1/31 LAX-ATL-LAX
2/1 LAX-ATL
2/2 ATL-LAX-DTW
2/3 DTW-LAX-MSP
2/4 MSP-LAX-ATL
2/5 ATL-LAS-ATL

Not a lot of variety...

Wow, they are back on ATL-SJU. Last year the route was 757 only.

Which ones are the ETOPS aircraft?

In response to the OP, you can get three a day at LAX...

As of right now, the only stations that are SCHEDULED 76Qs (excluding occasional equipment upgrades) are ATL, MSP, DTW, SEA, SFO,LAX, SAN, SLC, and SJU.

Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 4):

16 active i.e. flying. There are a few that's been in storage since2010.

Quoting 1337Delta764 (Reply 7):

The 4pm departure was upgraded to a 763 a while back for the winter season.

There will be some interesting upgrades for the summer. Look for the 753 on ATL-BON.

Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 4):

More like mid-cons...current routes are ATL-SJU/LAS/SLC/SAN/LAX/SEA, DTW-LAX, and MSP-LAX. Others are SLC-HNL and LAX-HNL.

Quoting Newark727 (Reply 8):

Ships 1401 - 1404. The only ones that are ETOPS certified and that have the big PWs like those on a majority of the 763ERs. They rotate through ATL to operate SLC-HNL and LAX-HNL.

Well, there are 5 (at least I think it's 5) in the desert as well.

I think it's usually more like 6-9, depending on the time of year. For example in April:

LAX-MSP x1
LAX-DTW x1
LAX-ATL x3
LAX-HNL x1

But 3x daily to ATL is the fewest that route has seen in a while. It has been around 5x daily.

Yes to ATL-LAX, flew it in the Summer of 2008. N127DL was the registration.

flew DTW-LAX on N125DL (was 23 years 9 months old when I flew it).. Best bet is LAX to find them, I got a number of them photographed there over a few days on the same trip.
