This afternoon, around 1:15 pm, a catering truck collided on a Gol's 737-800 PR-GUI. It's a new aircraft received last August and fitted with Sky Interior.
The aircraft was ready to depart on a shuttle flight to SDU in Rio with 150 passengers on board.
The damage was quite serious as it broke the window and cracked the fuselage. A Brazilian television channel went to the maintenance hangar in CGH, where the aircraft is doing some minor repairs before being flown to CNF to do the heavy work. The video can be seen below, only in Portuguese, though.
According to Gol the aircraft will be on maintenance for around 7 days. As next weekend is Carnival in Brazil, the maintenance guys better do their great job quickly and put this lady back in the sky safely for next Friday.
I have some pics from PR-GUI on the hangar that I just took while leaving work on my mobile, I'll try to post it later on my profile.
