With all the expansion by EK, EY, and QR, are there any large or medium-sized cities in Europe that are not served by any of the Gulf carriers? Once the larger markets get saturated, could we see them go into the smaller markets, especially cities with little or no service to the Middle East or Asia?

I'm not anti-social. I'm just not user friendly.

I think that WAW is one of the cities that should have Gulf carriers.

GOT will most definitely be a hit, preferably with Qatar.

They have a market to/from Asia of over 300.000 pax pr year. Emirates arguments for LIS was their 250.000 pax to/from Asia. GOT also has a very stable upper yield market to certain Asian destinations, that would most definitely benefit an Gulf carrier. I know GOT's top priority is to attract a Gulf carrier and from what I have heard, both Eithiad and Qatar are in dialogue about a potential service.

I would guess that GOT will get the A319 from HEL when or if its upgraded to a A330.

Don't think that will happen anytime soon given there is EK daily service from NCL and double daily service from GLA.

The question though was about the cities not served by Gulf carriers, not what cities are going to be served.
