Alot of todays mega airports had humble beginnings, it's really a case of which comes first the chicken or the egg. Stelios probably has the right idea, establish a viable operation and the infrastructure and capital will follow, luckily the LCC model is a little more forgiving when it comes to infrastructure short comings. I imagine Richard Branson may also have an interesting perspective on the challenges of establishing an airline in West Africa with his recent venture in Nigeria still fresh in his memory.
The irony is that building international airports are probably a cheaper option than the one facing Ghana and the rest of West Africa with its challenge of building a vital and durable road network.

ACC airport isnt that bad and can support a lot of flights. Note that 70percent of passengers departs between the hours of 8pm and 11pm.
The afternoons and morning are quiet and only sees flights to the us, egypt, dubai, Cairo, Beirut and west African flights.
Next destinations, Suarabaya, beirut, paris, Accra
