I have to agree with you. The Continental DC-10s are very clean and well maintained. If I didn't know any better, I would think I was on a new aircraft!

In my opinion the North West Dc-10, probably because I never saw the other 3 here in Amsterdam.

I agree with SESGDL and Tan Flyr, AA did it the best! Nothing looks more majestic than their polished metal from nose to tail. This only fits on their older aircraft though such as the DC-10 and 727s, since the new aircraft have a layer of paint on the tail making it discolored.

I never thought I'd *ever* take part in this kinda post, but I like the Sun Country DC-10 colours... but the FedEx DC-10s or MD-10s look the best in my mind...

AA, the DC10 was built for them. Then again, so was the L1011.

I think the -10 wears the colors of NW best.

American is a classic look. Continental's is actually a livery that(thankfully for them) really compliments the 737.

I know the question was specific, but this is one livery on the -10 that I always thought looked cool:

IMO, the best CO D10 pics are from ZRH. Run a search, you won't be disappointed.

Great bird, you still can see the MD-11 in these colors, but she still doesn't touch the DC-10

For the ones listed, I would say Continental. But if I may squeeze in one not on the list, I'll say Pluna.

I'd say British Airways, American and Northwest are/were the best schemes to adorn the DC10.

Anyone remember the DC-10 "pub flights" circa 1975? Now those were also great on the inside!

I have always liked them in CO colors, and UAL colors, and I think that FedEx makes them look great. However, I hate AAs paint on any aircraft, as well as Northwest's, so those did not do it justice.
