There has been talk of EVA joining *A. With China Airlines in ST, EVA would get a lot of advantages in joining *A. EVA has a pretty good Asian network and would add value to *A. Do you see EVA joining *A in the foreseeable future?

Early February news story said acceptance could come as early as this quarter, with full membership 6-12 months later:

The Google translate function has some reference to the League of Nations which I assume they are NOT applying to.

*A really makes sense with their North American routes ... YYZ, YVR, SFO, JFK (a little weird, maybe change to EWR). The european routes may need a bit of re-aligning but overall a big win.

Well, the ROC/Taiwan isn't a member of the UN so maybe they are looking to revive the League of Nations as an alternative?

They used to fly to EWR and were a OnePass partner so I don't think that will happen. Any connections made on UA could be done at SFO.

Always wonderers if this "last and final boarding call" is in fact THE last and final boarding call.
