Aerosur has returned its spectacularly painted 744 to VS, awaiting delivery of a former Aerolineas Argentinas 744. I assume its because lease rates will be much cheaper, as the former AR plane is 10 years older.

Quoting ghost77 (Reply 1): 5L is bleeding, they have a 190M debt and the government is trying to persue long due payments from 2004 to 2011.
Bleeding indeed, SIN (Servicio de Impuestos Nacionales) will keep 100% of the income of 5L. Some personnel are resigning too. On top of this, the government is doing everything to kill it, through everything including BoA.
