Hello Folks,
Here's the link that states Delta is leaving Fairbanks.

What else is new at Delta?

Just in case yoiu want to know the whole story, Fairbanks was always a seasonal city, not a full time year round. Delta is staying with Anchorage though.

Skyhawk, just incase you didn't read the article, Fairbanks WAS a year-round city with daily Anchorage-Fairbanks flights. It was second daily on a seasonal basis. Both flights are ending.

MAH4546, I don't need to read the article, my info come from my husband that works for Delta as a manager. His information comes from Atlanta directly.

Figures...DL and US squandered their west coast resources from their WA/PS acquisitions. I guess neither one has the cajones to take on that market.

MAH4546 - after the first posting on this subjct, I figured the least I could do was to read the article in question. Granted the article does say that they are pulling out of Fairbanks, but it does NOT say they are pulling out of Anchorage. It in fact says that they will have service from SLC and SEA and in the summer will have service from ATL. Is that correct?
