Lufthansa Launches Moscow Vnukovo; A-380 Visits

Couldn't find any information on this around here, so thought I'd chip in.

Browsing on Vnokovo's Facebook page, noticed a few news items and pictures that are worth sharing. Text is in Russian, but here are the main points:

* Inaugural flight Frankfurt - Moscow Vnukovo - Frankfurt was completed today (Sun. Mar. 25th)
* Lufthansa's commencement of VKO operations marked by A-380 visit to VKO on Mar. 23rd
* Lufthansa will start regular scheduled VKO service from Hamburg and Dusseldorf starting June 3rd 2012 (in addition to existing Frankfurt)
* June 3rd will also mark the start of LH's service from Berlin's new airport to VKO
