According to justplanes.com, AA is looking to start flights between FLL and CCS. This would be great, because, as many do or do not know, Caracas is the #1 international destination out of Miami, and services out of FLL would allow Miami residents a second choice to Latin America out of a less congested airport, and it would also be a plus for Miami area residents who live closer to FLL. I guess it would be based on the same principal as AA's daily FLL-LAX 752 flight.

I belive that the route was already approved by the DOT. AA is looking to start on Dec. 15 using a 737-800.

Wow! That's great! This is great for FLL, who has been desperately searching for an airline to fly FLL-CCS. Up next is finding someone to fly FLL-MEX.

Great that would be the second Latin destination for AA out of FLL, they already fly into SJU from FLL with two daily flights. One of he flights is operated with the 737-800 and the other with the 757.
