Does anyone know when AR first began scheduled operations at MIA?
While I've been searching for the date, the best I could find is an advertisement for four flights per week in 1967.
With that many flights per week, I suspect that they had been serving MIA prior to that - with the Comet perhaps?

I checked my copy of R. E. G. Davies' magnificent "Airlines of Latin America since 1919". According to this book, AR began Comet IV service from Buenos Aires to Miami, via Lima, in 1965.
The first service to the US by an Argentine airline was operated by Flota Aerea Mercante Argentina (FAMA) on 21 Oct 1946. A DC-4 was used, operating Buenos Aires-Rio de Janeiro-Natal-Belem-Trinidad-Havana-New York City. FAMA was taken over by AR in 1949.
Service to Miami was inaugurated by Aerolineas Ini y Cia, which began service via Santiago, Antofagosta, Lima, Guayaquil, and Panama City, using DC-4s, in Jan 1960. DC-6s replaced the DC-4s in Sep 1960; with the arrival of the DC-6s, GYE was dropped from the route, and SCL was replaced by COR. Aerolineas Ini was liquidated in 1964.
Another airline that served MIA prior to AR was Transcontinental S.A.in October, 1960, via Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Caracas. Transcontinental operated L-1049H Super Constellations and Bristol Britannias on their long haul routes; Davies does not state which type was used to MIA. Transcontinental shut down in Nov 1961.
AR was granted authority to serve MIA when Aerolineas Ini liquidated.

New York was always more important historically Miami as a destination for international airlines especially in the 1950's. Miami was just a town in the days of the Dc-4 & 6's. AR flew to Idlewilde long before they found Miami, but then they probably flew to Havana back then.
