To all CX Fans:

Cathay Pacific's new Airbus A330-300 aircraft arrived into Hong Kong today from Toulouse (France) at 8:15am HK time as CX 3330.

What is more interesting is that this aircraft will be coded as 333 on the schedules to indicate it is installed with new Business Class product.

Can someone please advise where this aircraft will fly to from HKG and what is the registration number of aircraft.

This aircraft will have the new First and Business Class as well as the new Y class seats with PTV featuring Studio CX, intranet, email, power outlet...a truely luxury aircraft with all facilities you can think of... the best airline in the world with the best facilities onboard.

I am excited!!! Cathay Pacific - The Heart of Asia.

I have word from another board that HKG-SYD is the first route. It will replace the A340-300 that use to fly the route.

Which means I'll get to see it  Smile

Some of you guys don't get it. This A330-300 has the new First Class found only on a couple of A340-300's and the entire B747-400 fleet ie it's a 3 class A330-300.

Plus it has a new, improved business class. Singapore_Air, you're just an SQ snob, who has no realization that CX has come up with a new business product before "his" airline.

I wouldn't worry too much about Singapore_Air...he is a little kid who is just making up things as he goes along....he needs discipline from his parents I think. Grow up young kid.

Actually, Singapore_Air, from what I've heard, CX's new business class trumps the new SQ product (that info from insiders at the airlines as well as independent observers who've been invited - on another board). I'm not a CX fan myself, I don't mind them but I'm not a die-hard who names him/herself after an airline...

Yes its B-HLP, it should be the same as B-HLM, N and O in terms of the longer range.

Also saw the first ex SQ A343 B-HXM TRY and do a test flight. They had to cancel it after departure due to tech problems. Not sure how long it was in the air but I saw it land on 25R.

The arrival of a new aircraft, no matter with a new or different config, always calls for celebration. Like 9V-SVC's arrival this coming 17th, its always good to see a new family member.

To those who think its just another aircraft, just think. If a family member gives birth to a child, do you celebrate? Why? Isnt it just another human being? Sorry, not meant to offend.

Hkgspotter1, you said:
"Yes its B-HLP, it should be the same as B-HLM, N and O in terms of the longer range."

What is the range of this aircraft? What is the range of the other A333 in CX's fleet? Is that the new 233t MTOW version?

Regards
Gerardo
