In Delta's effort to combine terminals at LGA, they have repainted the front of Terminal D dark blue and then put a giant Delta ad on it. The result looks like a billboard on the side of the building that can easily be seen from the Gramd Central Pkwy.
Honestly, it is quite awful and I was wondering how the Port Authority approved this "facelift." It takes an ugly 1980s terminal and makes it an ugly 1980s terminal with a really ugly ad plastered on the front.

Did you see it from the Parkway? I'm asking because at that distance, you might be mistaking a temporary cloth cover (in place for the time of the ongoing construction) for a repaint. The groundbreaking at LGA was yesterday.

I noticed this, too. The exterior trim between the upper and lower levels has been painted Delta blue. (Painted white in the picture below; the portion jutting out from the driveway and covering the lower level arrivals area.) Delta's portion of Terminal C got a similar treatment as well.
