What aircraft category is the new Sonic Cruiser? Will it get the typical Boeing "7" name or what? Also, if you have any other info. about it, please post it.

First and so far, only, Transonic-cruise airliner! Well, almost, since Concorde and the Tupolev were designed to go way faster but can of course go at that speed as well. And some of the faster subsonic airliners like the 777 (that 'long slope on its head', as DatamanA340 refers to it in the 777 vs 330 thread) incorporate a bit of the features needed in that flight regime.

Might want to check this out:

SC is so far has a "20xx" designation, but that could change.

Supposedly, (and I suggest you check this) the next 7x7 will be the BWB as a next gen super jumbo that could appear 'round 2025.

Hope this guides you well,

Lehpron
