There was an airline (I frogot the proposed name of it), that wanted to start service next year between JFK and LGW in an all business class setup. I don't know what ever happened to them. Does anyone remember what I'm talking about?

I cannot believe Legend is dead. I was in LAX last year and had one of their DC-9s park right in front of me. I decided not to take a picture of it because I wanted my last shot to be of the SIA 747 taking off. I figured there would be a next time.
Sadly, I will never have to opportunity to photograph Legend again. I would like to see them give it one more try. They were great.

Crystal Airways is looking to attract business travelers to an airline with comfort and an attractive price. They'd be based in Florida and have a fleet of B757s. Check out the website for more info.
As for Infinite Airways I don't have any information except for they're website which is under development. Anyone know any info. about it?

Legend Airlines went into Chapter 7 (liquidation) and Viking Resources is trying to buy their name and as many assests as possible (search under PRNEWSWIRE in Northernlight). Viking was intending to restart service.
Ozark discontinued service from Columbia, MO in April/May 2001. An outfit called Great Plaines Airlines based in Kansas purchased their certificate and planes and operates ABQ-OKC-TUL-BNA on a linear route.
National is currently trying to secure more money. The courts are still out on that one.
New airlines also were Heartland (they have 60% of their financing) out of DAY and Cardinal (Melbourne, FL). Air Canada was planning a new startup up north.

Air Canada is going to start a new discount carrier in Canada. The name has not been announced nor has the start-up date, but fall of 2001 is expected. It will operate 20 737-200's all from Canadian Airlines. It is expected it will be based out of Vancouver.
