Actually I wanted the topic to be when did British Airways and Air France retire their last Boeing 707s but I only have limited number of key strokes.

BA retired their last 707 in March 1984. It was then operating for their British Airtours charter subsidiary. See the March 1984 entry in their history timeline here.

I believe the last BA mainline scheduled 707 service was in May 1982.

The last AF 707 flight was October 28, 1982 from Tunis to Paris.

I confirm the fact AF got rid of their 707 by Q4 of 1982 .

I would still like to know which routes did the BA 707 serve before they got retired . ( 1980-1982 ) i remember LHR CAI and the TYO route via SVO . And by 81-82 some European routes like MAD which was so rare for these BA birds .Might you ever know your side ?

I remember seeing a British Airways 707 in Mexico City back in January of 1980. I don't know if it was a scheduled route, charter, or leased aircraft. But it was parked at the gate with passengers embarking.

It was scheduled. If memory correct the 707 operated twice a week LHR-BDA-NAS-MEX.
