Just a simple question what is the US Airways' actual fleet?
Did they still take delivery of Airbuses? How many did they have? And what is the retirement schedule for older aircraft? Which one will soon be withdrawn from their mainline fleet?

Thanks a lot

Bien à vous,

I dont know the specifics but can tell you that they have A319's A320's and A321's - all real nice. Those along with the 75's are all I see in SFO. I flew on the 319 last month and it was awesome, very comfortable.

A319: ordered 71, delivered 66, operating 66
A320: " 50, " 24, " 24
A321: " 34, " 16, " 16
A330: " 10, " 9, " 9
(taken from www.airbus.com)
B757-200: 23 ordered
B767-200ER: 6 ordered (don't know if still in service)
MD-80-82: 10 (the same as for B767)
B737-300: 54 (ordered from March '81 to March '88, don't know if still in service)
B737-400: 36 (ordered from June '86 to March '88, don't know if still in service)
(taken from www.boeing.com)
I think that the 737s, Md-82s and the 767s have all been phased out due to the Airbus purchase.

Hope of being of some help

US is still flying the 767s. The A330s are replacing 767 service on some routes transatlantically, but 767s are being put in transcon and other routes.

No, the 737s, MD-80s and 767s are still very much in service. They also have about 35 or so Fokker 100s and a few DC-9s, which are being phased out this week.

You know, the actual information is quite easy to find. Just look on the US Airways home page.

US Airways has Boeing 737's, 757's, 767's, A319's, A320's, A321's, and A330's. I'm not sure about the other parts of the question, though.
