Allegiant Air At MDW?

Leaving MDW today saw a allegaint mad dog parked at the c gates? Anyone know why? Thanks

Almost certainly either a charter or a weather diversion.

G4 does not fly scheduled service from MDW; their Chicago-area airports are RFD to the north and GYY to the south.

It was probably a charter flight. Allegiant makes a presence at MDW at least twice a month.

I checked Flightaware and it came in from LAS and just left to PHL. It's probably a charter.

It was, taking people home from LAS for Caesar's Entertaiment. Hopped over to PHL to pick up another load of gamblers.

It had to have been an MD-87. All of the charters I've seen for casino runs into GYY are 87's. Only for MX reasons I've seen the 83.

To actively root against anybody is just low, and I hope karma comes back at you with a vengeance

It was an 83. The 87's run the normal contracted charters out of UTA and IFP, this one was outside of that contract. They do ocaisionally run additional flights which operate with 83's.

Last week an 83 flew in lieu of the 87 out of UTA because the 87 went tech and was stuck in FWA for a couple of days.
