Some news out White Plains tonight, a JetBlue flight to West Palm encountered some geese and returned 7 minutes later.

Here's an article from the NY Post, making it sound a lot worse, than it likely was: http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/g...lane_taking_7xlsnpfs9Fbtz6F9xIBUQP

Does not say if they even lost an engine

They took 2 geese to the cockpit windows and center support bar. That must have been a loud strike. I always thought it was loud hitting small birds on a runway.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing! It's a bonus if you can fly the plane again!!

The jet was an Embraer 190, which can carry 114 passengers. It was unclear how many people were board the goose-crippled flight. Authorities and the airline did not return phone calls.

Elsewhere I saw 54 pax, 4 crew.

Trying to figure out the tail #. Is there a database that shows this?

Thank you, I checked a few photos and couldn't read it. When I search that on FlightAware I do see that its next few scheduled runs have been cancelled. It's odd to me that you can look up either the Tail # or the Flight # but they don't appear to be cross-referenced.
