Just in the news:
Five or six dead in a private plane accident in Tatroz, 8 km north of Vevey (which is on the Lake Geneva). They were flying from Lausanne-Blécherette (QLS) to Ecublens (canton of Fribourg).
Witnesses told the police that they made two circles over the village of Tatroz, presumably to greet friends who were having an aperitif outside. As "20 minutes" says, referring to information confirmed by the police, the occupants were talking with their friends on the ground using mobile phones.

Doing turns around some ground spectators probably low to the ground while talking on a cell phone and probably with the passengers on the plane aren't a good combination. When does the airspeed indicator get any attention in all of this?
The plane was probably flying in a circle, the bank got steeper and steeper with each turn at a somewhat low power setting. The stall speed creeps up slowly until the flying speed and the stall speed meet rather quickly and they have no room for recovery.
