Biggest Hint Yet Republic Will Fly UAX Q400's?

Very quietly Republic has pulled the remaining ex-Lynx operated Bombardier Q400's from 'for sale'. Republic had contracted with Skyworks to lease or sell the final 4 Q400's operating under the Frontier network. In the last few weeks the listings have been removed...

I've also been told that Pinnacle is shopping only (2) of its Q400's - these two are not part of whatever deal is in the making for taking over the UAX Q400 flying. Making a pure assumption here, that might further explain why Republic pulled the listings on its Q400's as it will need those planes to restore the former Pinnacle Q400 operation to "full" status.

Or it may be with Pinnacle dumping the planes back to the lessor, the value of Republic's Q400 fleet just went down because of the strong possibility of a large number of Q's going on the market? IIRC Pinnacle purchased the planes initially, then did a sale/leaseback deal on most of the fleet. The 2 you reference may be the only 2 that had not been sold/leased back. I haven't heard anyone outside A.net speculators say anything about the Q sticking around at UA. UA Skynet has said nothing more than that the Q400 flying would wind down. There's been no talk of "hoping to find another operator" for the fleet.

UAL is looking for a regional to do Q flying. That they won;t post on Skynet, however I know OO has been in the talks as well to fly the Q's, but as of yet obviously nothing.

It's too bad QX won't take up any additional, used Q's.
