With everyone cutting back on business travel these days - the airlines now seem to be upping the ante on business class amenities. A little much perhaps?

Wow, you are fast! :P I was just gonna post this page and pics on the site, and here you are! According to the page, they will also have a bar on board, maybe will just like Virgin's, just can't wait to see this new J class. And by the way, after this new product, I bet ppl travelling from Canada to HKG by J will chose Cathay, coz then Air Canada's J class will not be able to compete, I just hope I can see something very different by AC very soon!

OMG. CX's new biz class cabin trumps BA's, even with BA's lie-flat sleeperettes.
What a paragon of modern design! Read the press release fully if you haven't!

It looks nice...but a lot like everything else that's out there...or being planned.
I guess there's not a lot you can do with a seat. I've flown on BA's new product and was not impressed.

Jaysit- I agree with you(for once ) I am sure Business class will do well for people who want great service, but don't want to pay 1st class fares.

Can't wait to fly it. I really think CX is one of the finest airlines around. I am also glad they listened to feedback about the much-too-dark palette of their First Class cabin and responded with a lighter scheme for J class. I like their First class, but the fittings need lightening up. Hope they re-launch Y class soon.

I can't wait to try it out on a real flight. It's won't be long until all the long-haul fleet are fitted with these seats. It certainly does look like a very good upgrade. I am looking forward to the video on demand, when when I have a two hour rest from the cockpit I can watch a full film and not two half films!!!
