Who was the last operator of ORD-GDL? MX?? I know Volaris does it from MDW daily these days.
From the desert to the sea, to all of Southern California

About time! MX owned Chicago - Mexico for decades, now someone is finally trying to fill the void. AA and UA had chances, but have not offered service (rather route via DFW and IAH).

Again another typo on behalf of AM. They probably meant to say renew. AM has been on ORD- GDL for a few years already. They fly this routed as a red eye.

I wonder if they let the authority expire. They flew the route all of February. DGAC shows them carrying 5,061 passengers on ORD-GDL for that month. I know they dropped it in mid March for some reason.

Yes, I remember I once flew ORD-GDL-MEX during spring break when I was studying in Chicago because it was unbelievable cheap. For the return leg, I flew the nonstop.
MX flew into MDW too for a bit. You are correct.

Who knows. It is weird. In any event, it makes sense to relaunch. This is a heavily demanded route.

The fares are *terrible*. I don't think AM will last a year, if they start.

The fares are very good....for passengers. If AM lasts a year I'll be surprised.

Quoting EddieDude (Reply 9): I meant I flew ORD-GDL-MEX on MX back in the day. They flew this route for many, many years.
Fares are still cheap; in fact they're probably cheaper.
