As reported on the jetstream.ch website, there is supposed to be a new German startup carrier called "jump away airlines". The airline should be heading to the skies in late 2001. They are about to operate a fleet of Boeing aircraft, namely B737 and B757. Destinations are not announced yet, their schedule is to be presented in September. They are supposed to aim at both the business and the holiday traveler.
I just wonder whether this will be a serious enterprise. On the one hand they give both an address and a phone number on their homepage, but on the other hand their English sounds very unprofessional, e.g. "...serve numerous targets in Germany and Europe." and "and directly in the Internet.".
So what do you guys think, will they make it to the skies? I just wonder what their concept would be like, maybe a European version of JetBlue? I'm also interested what airports they intend to serve, will they serve European trunk routes or secondary airports? What are your thoughts about this topic, any speculation is appreciated. If you want to check their homepage, it is http://www.jumpaway.de

"LAdies and Gentlmen, please Jump Away from the plane when the plane cruising at 35,000ft...."

Well, may be the name should be "Fly Away Airlines"

telefon and fax are the same, sounds like a private telephon. Even the German they use sounds more colloquial than businesslike.
