A few years ago Gulfstream flew Beijing-Savannah, Georgia non-stop to show the long-range capabilities of the G550... I wonder what city pair they will connect this time with the G650 to show off its range.
"The green, unpainted aircraft, flying under an experimental certificate, flew IAD-GVA at an altitude of 43,000 feet at speeds of Mach .90 to Mach .92, over a ground track of 7,000 km (3,780 nm). Gulfstream said it will apply for a city-pair speed record from the National Aeronautic Association"

Quoting g500 (Reply 2): yeah I saw that, the more reason to take the G650 abroad and show it off...
Problem is that flight global ran that article on the first page of today's EBACE magazine.
Luckily today was only a press and exhibitor set up day, but many people will have read that article.
