The following was posted in another topic by Panamair:
"looks like the eigth 767-300ER has been reconfigured with flat-bed seats and is back in service - ship 1601 (N169DZ). I believe this is the first one to be done that wasn't previously a 76T (i.e., no previous nose-to-tail AVOD); this one also has no lower deck pilot bunk; pilots will take a BusinessElite seat as rest seat; in its place is 3 additional Y seats (seats 16C,D,E)."
The previous topic on the 767-300ER mods, "Delta B763 Updates", has been archived. Thought it would be good to revisit the subject.
I show the follow ships(8) as having completed the new modiifications:

Quoting Delta1961 (Thread starter): With N169DZ not having the below deck crew rest space, is it still designated as 76U?
It is designated as 76L. The way the seating configuration differs from the 76T is that there is an extra three seats in the middle section between the lavatories and the the BusinessElite cabin (the location where the pilot rest would be located on the 76Ts).

So how would you describe the seating config, J36/Y+32/Y143 or J36/Y+29/Y143 with 3 seats for crew rest, or something else?

I wonder if the 767 conversions will pick up after this, has another 767 (or two) gone in for seat mods at this time yet? The 747 fleet seems to be getting their new config very quickly.
