A340 M-IABU...who Or What Is "Bourkhan"

Hi all...my 1st post so please go easy on me ! Saw the gorgoeus exec A340 M-IABU arriving at MUC yesterday afternoon. What's the significance of the Bourkhan titles? A web search shows thia aircraft as registered to KlaretAviation.

It must have something to do with RA. His private A340 also has the Bourkhan titles and looks identical, it's registered M-ABUS. I don't know what the purpose of this second A340 is though. Maybe a Corporate Jet, as he already has 2 private jets

It's the same aircraft - M-ABUS was re-registered M-IABU sometime last year.

Many thanks guys, I see Mr Usmanov's middle name is Bourkhanovich, so that would explain it. Of Course, he just has to have a bigger biz-jet than RA !! Size does matter...

It belongs to Alisher Usmanov the Russian billionaire. M-IABU stands for " I Alisher Bourkhanovich Usmanov". Bourkhan was his dad's name. He also has a giant yacht that is named after his mom.
